Hungarian Vadas

Beef shank
6 carrots
2 parsley
1 celery
1 glove of garlic
1 onion
2dl milk
200 ml sour cream
Vinegar
Sugar
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Fusilli

How to make it:

Cook the beef shank until it is almost done.
Add the cleaned vegetables and cook it until the vegetables are cooked.
Pour down the liquids from the vegetables and the meat.
Blend the vegetables into a paste except the garlic.
Make a roux from 2 spoons of flour, add 2 tea spoons of sugar and add the paste.
Add 1 spoon full of vinegar and 2dl of milk
Add salt and pepper according to your liking and a bay leaf.
At the end add the sour cream and the meat and let it cook a little bit more.
The bay leaf must be removed after it is done.
Serve it with fusilli.

!Tip : The poured down liquid can be served as a soup with some thin noodles.
